£40,000 regeneration programme transforms Stalybridge Nature Reserve

A team of Volunteers from Cheshire Wildlife Trust have led a £40,000 regeneration program building hundreds of metres of new footpaths and bridges at Eastwood Nature Reserve in Stalybridge.

Work has also focused on creating a haven to attract wildlife including woodpeckers,Kingfishers dippers and flycatchers.Visitors can now explore the site on guided bluebell and wildlife walks,there are also crafts for children and refreshments available.
