Adam Reid from Stalybridge has just won the prestigious Caterer and HotelKeeper acorn award. Adam is head chef of "The French" by Simon Rogan at the Midland hotel in Manchester and was recently featured in BBC One's "Restaurant Wars" The Battle for Manchester.
The General Manager Of the Midland Hotel said "he has done a fantastic job in creating a culinary experience unrivalled in the city". The award makes Adam one of the best young chefs under 30 in the country.
