The new Highfield Pavilion wins prestigious Architects Award

The new Highfield Pavilion, part of the recent multi million pound project at Stamford park Stalybridge, has received a Royal Institute of British Architects Award.

The Judges were impresses with the light airy interior and the use of glazing to bring the park into the building. Cllr.Kevin walsh,Stalybridge North Ward, who was lead member of the Park Refurbishment said "Im delighted that the quality and ambition that Tameside Council has had for Stamford Park has been recognised through this award."
