West Hill School in Stalybridge played host to David Dickinson's "Real Deal" TV show.
Dickinson's "Real Deal" is an antiques and collectables television programme presented by Stockport born David Dickinson. The show visits locations around the UK and asks people to come in and either sell their antiques and collectables for valuation by an antiques dealer who may offer to buy the item for cash. Alternatively, the participants can take a gamble and go to auction if the dealer's offer is refused or no offer is made to buy the object.
There were a large number of visitors to the "dealer day" at West Hill, giving the public the chance to have their heirlooms valued for free some selling their items for cash on the day to one of the dealers.
The new series will be screened in the New Year.
David said " It was great visiting Stalybridge, a town with such a rich history".
