The Mossley Horticultural Show, sponsored by Emmaus, is being held at Mossley Community Centre on 14th september 2013.
It starts at 2pm with Mossley Town Team supporting the Tallest Sunflower Competition.
The event is open to people of all ages and young people will get the oppurtunity to compete in seven categories including
the funniest shaped fruit or vegetable category. Activities on the day include Vegetable classes, Fruit classes, Floral art and
Flower classes and home produce.
You will also be able to bring your own apples and pears to press your own fruit and bring seasonal fruit and vegetables
and watch the live cook off.At 2pm onwards there is a guided heritage walk around Roughtown, Mossley.
