Nine year old Ramsey Travers, named after England's 1966 World Cup winning manager Sir Alf Ramsey, won a competition to become an England mascot for England's World Cup warm up match against Ecuador in Miami.

Ramsay a pupil at Bradley Green in Hyde, couldn't believe it when he opened the letter telling him hed won the competition as he'd unsuccessfully entered many competitions hoping to become a mascot. The competition was run by England supporter's group EnglandFans.

Ramsay has followed England all over the world and was overcome with excitement when he ran out onto the pitch with Manchester City's James Milner for England's game against Ecuador in America.
