Droylsden mum and daughter Julia and Kennedy Taylor have scooped the £100,000 jackpot prize on BBC game show Prized Apart.
Viewers saw Julia and Kennedy from win the final quiz challenge on Saturday night’s gripping finale to take home the grand prize. It was an all Mancunian finale, with identical twins Craig and Chris Bieszke from the city also making it to the tense final face off alongside the Taylors.
Saturday night’s show started with four duos still in the running to win the big money prize. Kennedy was in Morrocco facing one final gruelling challenge having to abseil down a 700 ft high dam and competing in a vertical obstacle course.
She made it through - and was jetted back to the TV studios in London to be reunited with mum Julia for the final quiz challenge.
Make-up artist Kennedy couldn’t hold back the tears as the news sunk, confetti bombs burst over the studio crowds and presenters Reggie Yates and Emma Willis congratulated her and dental nurse mum Julia.
