Tameside girl receives Royal Approval

Nine year old Grace Riley, from Audenshaw, posted the Queen a christmas card she had designed at school. She addressed the envelope "The Queen,Buckingham Palace". Included in the card was a letter asking how the Queens corgis were doing and there was also a special message for Prince George, the Queen's grandson.

Grace's dad,John, said"Grace did the card and letter a week before christmas, but we didn't expect to get a reply. We were amazed to get a letter from one of the Queen's Ladies-In-Waiting".

Grace got the idea to send the letter from a classmate at the Boundary Dance Club, she is going to get the reply framed after showing it to her classmates at Audenshaw Primary School".
