Aldwinians slumped to their fifth successive defeat to Tarleton despite starting brightly and going into half-time with an 8 - 5 lead.

A dramatic turnaround in play during the second half saw Tarleton score three tries in the last half an hour to run out 27-8 winners.The Aldwinians try was scored by Andy Cummins and a penalty was converted by Andy Coxhill.

Ashton Rugby Club Played without their captain Neil Pearson for the first time in two years against Heaton Moor,he is recovering from a broken hand suffered whilst playing away at Thornton Cleveleys. The early part of the game was fairly even but as the game wore on Heaton Moor slowly gained territorial advantage and ran out 17-5 winners. The Ashton try was scored by Gareth Blomley.

DUKINFIELD went down heavily away at Vagabonds in the South Cheshire league 2, losing 77-10.
