Tameside rugby latest March 22nd

Aldwinains lost 9-0 away to St. Benedicts in Whitehaven on a muddy waterlogged pitch.

It was a dissapointing result after their recent run of three straight wins. Aldwinians put everything into the game and attacked ferociously in the second half but couldn't pull any points back as the home side defended their 9-0 lead brilliantly and hung on to take the points.

Ashton rugby club beat burnley by just one point, 6-5, they reversed the away result earlier in the season when Burnley had been the victors by one point. Burnley went ahead with a try earlier in the game but Ashton responded with two penalty conversions to win the game.

DUKINFIELD lost emphatically 37-5 at home to Port Sunlight.
