Aldwinians returned to winning ways against Littleborough at Audenshaw Park in the North Lancs and Cumbria Division winning 7-6, which saw Aldwinians win the game in the last quarter with some excellent rugby.
They had been 6-0 down until the 62nd minute when Jay Barton ghosted over the posts with a try which was converted by Andy Coxhill. Aldwinians held on to chalk up their first victory since October.
Ashton Rugby Club also won running out 24-19 winners at home to Garstang with two late tries in a thrilling last ditch victory. The Ashton try scorers were Chris Gill, Chris Grayson, James Elliot and Neil Oldham with Thomas Jackson converting twice.
