Aldwinians beat Keswick 21-20 in a closely fought match in very scenic surroundings up in Cumbria.

Prop Anthony Nanthaniel opening the scoring with a try which was converted by Andy Coxhill.

On 25 minutes Man of The Match James Nurmey scored a great try which Coxhill again converted. By half time Aldwinians had rocketed to a 7-21 lead.However in the second half Keswick launched a comeback and managed to cut the deficit to 20-21. When the final whistle blew Aldwinians were relieved to bag an important away win.

Ashton-Under-Lyne RFC lost 15-30 to Didsbury despite an excellent start with early tries from Neil Pearson and Tom Jackson.As the match progressed though Didsbury got the upper hand with Ashton suffering from discipline problems twice playing with 13 men for ten minutes.
