Top Tameside football performance of the day goes to Ashton United who had a fine win at home to Kings Lynn.

Hyde FC went down 2-1 away to Braintree Town at the Almin Stadium in the Skrill Premier. Manager Scott Mcniven was livid at the referees decision  to send  Adam Thurston off for a second bookable offence just before Braintree scored their late winner, Alex Brown had equalised for the tigers earlier in the game.

Stalybridge Celtic lost 2-1 away to Worcester City in the Skrill North, Celtics goal was scored by Paul Ennis.

Ashton United beat Kings Lynn 5-1 at Hurst Cross goals courtesy of a brace from Dale Johnson and individual goals from Jack Higgins,Martin Pilkington and Matty Koyslo, a great result in the final promotion push.Droylsden lost 4-1 away to FC United of Manchester, Sam Madeley scoring a consolation goal.

Curzon Ashton bagged another three points in the Evostick First Divsion North winning 2-0 away at Salford City with Sam Walker scoring a deflected goal and Matthew Warburton adding a second later in the game. Mossley went down 2-1 away at Lancaster City in the same division.
