Hyde produced a battling second half performance at Skrill Premier league leaders Barnet and were unlucky to lose.

The home side went into a half time lead with goals from Mark Byrne and keanu Marsh-Brown.

In the second half, however, Hyde fought back Liam tomsett scored after just 49 seconds of the restart, he then added a second in the 78th minute. The Tigers pressed hard to try and get all three points but unfotunately Barnet snatched victory with just 4 minutes to go making the score 3-2.

Stalybridge Celtic went down 1-0 away at Workington in the Skrill North seeing them drop 10 places to 13th.

In the Evostick Premier Division Ashton United drew 2-2 away at Nantwich with goals from Aaron Burns and Lee Rick from the penalty spot.Droylsden went down 3-0 at home to Skelmersdale United.

In the F.A.Cup Preliminary Round Curzon Ashton won 4-0 at home to Ashton Town, and Mossley were forced into a replay on tuesday night at Worksop Parramore after drawing 1-1 at Seel Park.
