Hyde lose their eleventh straight game 4-1 away at Luton in front of over 7,000 at Kenilworth Road.

Despite playing some good football Hyde found Luton striker Andy Gray in superb form with him scoring a hatrick for the home side.

No luck for Tameside teams either in the FA Cup 3rd Qualifying Round,Ashton United and Curzon Ashton both lost : United 4-2 away at Stamford and Curzon went down 3-0 to Stourbridge. Hyde are the only Tameside team left in the FA cup as they enter the competition in the 4th Qualifying Round by virtue of their higher league status, they have drawn wrexham away in the next round.

Back in the league in the Skrill North Droylsden lost again this time at home to Grantham Town 3-0.

In the Evostick North Mossley drew 3-3 at home to New Mills after being 3-1 down at half time.

In other news Stalybridge Celtic Manager leaves the club by mutual consent.
