Tameside football round up November 30th


Tamesides's teams had a bleak day apart from Ashton Utd (above) who beat Ilkeston.

The FA Trophy drew a complete blank as all  3 Tameside teams taking part lost. Hyde lost 2-1 at home to North Ferriby with loan striker jj O'Donnell scoring with a 25 yard chip over the keeper for the Tigers. Stalybridge lost 5-1 away at Lincoln Paul Marsh scoring for Celtic .Curzon lost 2-1 in an enthralling tie at Chorley, Samuel Walker scoring for Curzon,Chorley  booked a place in the next round with a last minute goal.

In the league, Ashton United beat Ilkeston 2-1 away in the Evo Stick Northern Premier with goals from Jason Gorton and Matt Chadwick.

Mossley Lost 2-1 to Darlington at Seel Park with Louis Horne seen above scoring Mossley's goal in the Evostick First Division North.
