Tameside football round up 4th January


The first saturday of the new year saw wins for Curzon Ashton and Mossley, a draw for Stalybridge and losses for both Hyde and Droylsden,Ashton Utd had no game.

In the Skrill Premier Hyde's dismal run continued, the Tigers lost 4-0 away at Gateshead

Stalybridge Celtic drew 3-3 away at Solihull Motors in the Skrill North with goals from Obi Anoruo(2) and Kristian Platt.

Curzon Ashton won away 1-0 Bamber Bridge in a tense game keeping their place at the top of the Evostick First division North table. Curzon were down to 10 men for the last 15 minutes with Chris Young getting sent off, Luke Horrocks scored the winner for Curzon. Mossley beat Radcliffe Borough 3-1 in the same division.
