The Easter Football programme saw Ashton United get closer to securing a promotion play off spot and Stalybridge took 4 points from the two easter games to ease any relegation fears.

Hyde Fc put up two very good dislpays inthe Skrill Conference but unfortunately were on the losing side for both easter games losing 3-1 at home to Kidderminster Harriers on Good friday and 1-0 away at Grimsby on easter saturday.
Stalybridge Celtic picked up some valuable points over the Easter period beating Gainsborough Trinity 3-2 at Bower Field and came away with a creditable draw at Bradford Park avenue. Four vital points to help stave off relegation from the Skrill North.
Ashton United beat promotion rivals 4 -1 on Easter Saturday with two goals from Martin pilkington and a goal apiece from Chris Lynch and Dale Johnson. On Easter monday they lost to a last minute goal away at FC united going down 3 -2 in front of a crowd of over 3,000 at Gigg Lane in the Evostick Northern Premier. Droylsden lost 4 -2 away at Buxton and 6 - 0 at home in the same division.
Evostick First Division North Champions Curzon Ashton beat Clitheroe 3 - 0 away on Easter Saturday with goals from Christopher Rowney, Ryan Watson, and Samuel Walker. Mossley lost 2-1 at home to Ossett Town and 5-1 away at Bamber Bridge.
