Droysden fought out a hard earned 0-0 with Blyth Spartans at the Butchers arms last night

and stopped their recent losing streak.

The Bloods nearly took an early lead when Dylan Mooney rounded the Blyth Keeper but the visitors

skipper Joe Hendrick cleared off the line.

Both sides struggled to create any meaningful chances in the first half.

In the second half there were a flurry of early chances with Bloods winger Domaine Rouse testing the Blyth Keeper.

For most of the later stages, though, Droylsden were on the back foot but managed to hold out for a well earned goalless draw.
