The Hero Half Marathon race, part of the Tour of Tameside takes place on 17 June 2023
The event is stage three of the 4 day event. half marathon It takes runners along the Longdendale Trail in a half marathon and all those who finish receive a commemorative Tour of Tameside Hero half Marathon medal.
The event is organised by the Running Bee Foundation which helps improve the health and wellbeing of local communities in the North West and encourages people to get active, they organise a range of running events throughout the year.
