Curzon Ashton extended their unbeaten run to three games in the Vanarama National League North with a 2-2 draw away at Worcester City. Curzon managed to snatch a draw with a stoppage time equaliser from substitute Jordan Wright, his 30 yard strike going beyond the reach of the home keeper and into the net.
Although Worcester opened the scoring when former West Brom striker Lee Hughes chased a long ball and found the net after just eight minutes Curzon had the lion's share of possession and should have won the game. With three minutes to go Worcetser's Lee Hughes could have wrapped up the points but fired over the bar, a costly miss for the home side as Curzon found their second equaliser of the game in stoppage time.
