Pennine Care launch free fitness and health course for men

Pennine Health Care in partnership with Stalybridge Celtic Football Club have launched "Get Fit Challenge" for men in Tameside aged 35 and over.

The eight week programme includes:

Opportunity to train with your local amateur football club including head coach and key staff.

Four weeks of football type drill training on the pitch followed by four weeks of indoor circuit sessions.

Final physical activity session provided by personal trainer frm Gymetc.

Weekly nutritional support and advice from your local NHS.

There is full access to all facilities during the programme. You will also get supporting materials sent weekly through email and Facebook and a one day pass to use at Gymtec aswell as a Men's health booklet on completion of the course.

The programme runs from Thursday 9th April to Thursday 28th May. First session 7.00pm to 9.00pm, following sessions 7.00pm to 9.00pm. No football experience necessary.
