Pennine Care  are looking for volunteers to enhance the mental health and community services we provide, if you have time to spare, have skills to share and enjoy meeting people, they we want to hear from you.
Volunteers play an important role within their services, their contributions allow them to extend the range of services they offer to patients, their relatives and carers.It is a two way process; that of helping to meet and enhance the care of patients, their relatives and carers and to provide an avenue for members of the community to offer their services.
 
Volunteers will be provided with;
Appropriate training
Regular support
Out of pocket expenses
Our volunteers work in various settings including hospitals, clinics and in the community. We have many varied roles available in clinical and administrative settings.
 
Examples of volunteer roles include:
 
Health Walk Leader
Service Connector
Social Inclusion Assistant
Admin Assistant
Inpatient befriender
Investing in Volunteers
 
Penine Care have been awarded the Investing in Volunteers standard which is the UK quality standard for good practice in volunteer management.
