Free events being held for "Adult Learner's Week"

Tameside Libraries are hosting a programme of free events for Adult Learners’ Week, 13 to 19 June.
Adult Learners' Week is a national celebration of lifelong learning which was first held in 1991. Last year more than 3,000 have-a-go activities were held by providers of all shapes and sizes, including Tameside Council.

Saturday, 13 June
 
Open Near You – Open University information drop-in in which you can find out more about studying with the Open University. 10am to 3pm at Tameside Central Library, Old Street, Ashton, OL6 7SG - 0161 342 2029.
 
Monday, 15 June
Chess for Beginners - 2 to 4pm at Droylsden Library. Places limited, ring the library on 0161 370 1282 to reserve.
