The Tameside Mayor, Dawson Lane will be hosting a Charity Valentine’s Ball at Dukinfield Town Hall on Friday 13 February.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Mayor's Charity Appeal Fund which this year is helping a small number of charities including Tameside 4 Good, The Alex Williams Believe and Achieve Appeal, The Alzheimer’s Society, Ruffley House (Women’s Refuge), Sophie’s Tiny Steps, The Stroke Association and Willow Wood Hospice.
Tables for eight people can be purchased at a cost of £320 or individual tickets at £40 per head. The evening will include a formal dinner and dancing to the sounds of the fabulous Technique Soul and Motown Band.
The Mayor said "This is a great opportunity for a wonderful night out while raising funds for very worthwhile local causes. We all need something to look forward to at this time of year and I hope people will consider booking tickets and supporting this special event."
