Hyde youngster has haircut for cancer charity

Seven year old Jessica Mason from Hyde has donated her 14 inch hair plait to the little Princess Trust after receiving her first real haircut.

The Little Princess Trust makes wigs for children who have lost their hair as a result of cancer treatment.

Her Mum Kelly regularly gives to charity and came across "The Little Princess Trust" whilst searching online. Kelly said she was amazed when Jessica asked if she could "give some of her hair to a poorly Princess to make her feel better".

Jessica had her hair cut at Scissors Sistors in Denton. It reached all the way down her back before the cut, she now sports a trendy bob. She has also raised over £500 for the Little Princess's Trust aswell as donating her hair.
