Broadoak Primary School is fundraising for Tameside Hospital Special Care Baby Unit on
 
The Baby Unit at Tameside Hospital has helped many families in the Broadoak community, each day the staff at Tameside work miracles to save the lives of these tiny babies.
 
Nineteen members of staff from Broadoak Primary School have now signed up to take part in the Wilmslow triathlon on 17th May. The team are now in training and  hope to raise as much money as possible for the babies and their families. 
 
They have been in touch with the Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit and have been told that the money we raise will go directly towards upgrading vital monitoring equipment for the new borns. 
 
 
To support the staff in this challenge, the children of Broadoak are getting on board with the fundraising spirit. They are taking part in The Great British Challenge! In addition to their annual sports day, the children will be sponsored to collectively cycle the b equivalent of thelength of Britain, run the width of Britain and climb the highest mountain!
