Denton woman plans 2,500 mile charity run across Africa

Emma Timmis, RSPCA  animal welfare Inspector from Denton, is planning a 2,500 mile run across Africa from Namibia to Mozambique.

She is running to raise monry for three charities, the Seed Project, Tusk (who carry out work in Africa) and a community project in Manchester. Emma's run could see her face a number of dangers such as land mines, lions and heat stroke. She will be supported by a team of close friends who will help her on her journey and camp out with her at night.
