Young Tameside entrepreneur wins North West Pastry chef of the Year

Jessica Humphrey's (pictured above) has won the North West Pastry Chef of the Year for the second year running we caught up with Jessica as she was delivering a cake to Jim McMamamon of Jalmac Leisure in Audenshaw.We were interviewing Jim for Your tameside and we arranged to meet Jessica as she was delivering one of her cakes to Jim as a surprise for his daughter's 13th birthday party.

Jessica beat off stiff opposition at Hopwood Hall College in Rochdale to win North West Pastry Chef of the year the judges were particularly impressed by her Opera Cake and Gateaux.Although Jessica is still at College she has set  up her own cake designing business.The Birthday cake she delivered to Jim looked absolutely delicious and it's design was incredibly detailed.Jessica showed me some photos of  cakes she has designed for other customers they ranged from cars to golf clubs she can design anything as a cake for any occasion.Your tameside wishes Jessica every success in her business venture if you want a cake for your speacial occasion get in touch with Jessica  on facebook at ALL THINGS SWEET.
