A former Tameside College Animation and Computer Game Design student, George Batchelor has secured a dream job as a result of studying at Tameside College.

He has secured a developer job with a company called Preloaded which is based in London, the job  allows George to develop games. George says that his ability to secure the job was due to the support of his tutors at Tameside College as they set him up with a solid foundation. After college George progressed onto Bournemouth University, one of the leading Universities for studying Computer Animation where he graduated with a first degree.

Aswell as studying, George has accomplished many things including, riding across America and climbing Kilimanjaro; the climb was part of Raising and Giving, where George and his fellow students raised a total of £2,500 for charity.

George said; “ there’s no reason why you can’t just go and do it. Everything is available, I realised this during my time at Tameside College, which was  brilliant. It gave me a great head start when I came to University, I got tonnes of support from the tutors, it helped me realise what I wanted to do, and hopefully achieve the perfect career.”
