Denton's Tollfest music festival, which raises money for the chidrens charity "Wish upon a Star" is now in it's 3rd year.

The idea first started in the summer of 2011 when Paul Juniper and his friend Graham Millman approached Paul's parent's, who were licensees at the Tollpoint in Denton with a view to holding a music festival. After overcoming many hurdles they finally gained consent to hold the festival on wasteland behind the Tollpoint pub. They  obtained an events license from Tameside Council and after months of meticulious planning the first event was held on Sunday June 4th 2012.

Tollfest has gone from strength to strength with this years festival promising to be the biggest and best so far. For details on how to purchase tickets for Tollfest 2014 log onto www.tollfest.co.uk
