Two goals from Gary Burnett on his debut for the Curzon ensured that a point was picked up on the opening day of the seasonCurzon started life in the Vanarama National League North against Corby Town.
Curzon Ashton introduced also introduced two more new signings Liam 'Teddy' Tomsett and George Grayson to the club.
The pair made their debuts during the 2-2 opening day draw against Corby Town on Saturday afternoon, both playing the full 90 minutes.
Tomsett is no stranger to Tameside football after featuring for Hyde in two separate loan spells with over 70 appearances. He started his career with Blackpool and has also featured for Altrincham, Ayr United and most recently AFC Fylde in last season's Conference North.
Left-back Grayson impressed on his debut against Corby. Grayson was a professional and made Football League appearances for Scunthorpe United, and had loan spells at Tamworth and Bradford Park Avenue in the Conference North. He recently played for Northwich Victoria and Ramsbottom United.
